December 5-6

After all the buzz in the metro, after all the busy days at work, we got to relax! Yeahbah! Jenny, our teammate from NY, visited the Philippines last Dec.1. And for our weekend getaway, we went to Club Balai Isabel. It was really a nice place! A very nice place to relax! It was also my first time to bond with some of the Demand Team and with Cathy again. Cathy and the Demand peeps are nocturnal species, so I haven’t spend sooo much time with them. The cast are as follows: Jenny, Rejoy, Cathy, Dada, Anton, Mark... and with the special participation of Darla (Dada’s adorable baby!). I really had fun with all of them! It was really fun to get to know them all!

December 11

And for Jenny’s last day in Manila, we went to Dampa for Dinner and PierOne for some drinks. Cathy changed her shift just to be with us! How sweeeeet! And Sarah also came! We missed her!I love wengweng! It never fails to get me drunk! I really CAN’T WALK STRAIGHT! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Dulce even had to walk me to the rest room hahahaha and I had to be careful going down the stairs.. I WAS REALLY DRUNK and IT WAS UBER FUN!

December 12

Another happy time! Christmas Party! It’s Thomson Reuters’ TRue Pinoy Christmas Party. It’s my first Christmas with my new family, but sadly it’ll also be the last one. So I took as much pictures as I can with the people I love! I went to the party with Pearl and Jesse and met with the others. After dinner, we discovered a “studio” upstairs and took sooooo many pictures with our Gossip Girl poses! Hahahaha! I’m sharing some!

I also took pictures with my schoolmates turned officemates! And Marj even won a 32-inch TV! How lucky can she get?!

And Andi Manzano & Jinno Rufino were our hosts that night. Pearl & I have a crush on Jinno... and we had our pictures with him! I loved Pearl’s bright idea! Hahaha

December 17

Capital Markets Consulting Team was awarded as the Customer Satisfaction’s Group Champion! It wasn’t complete because Only I, Jessse and Dulce are present. Pearl & Rejoy are both on leave and Cathy, Aica and MeAnne were on the night shift. Still, it was fun because we got to be the group champs and the spotlight was on us for several minutes. I can’t wait to see the official pictures with all the CS committee and I can’t wait to see it on The Link. However, I do have some pics on my cam c/o photographer Kevin.

December 19

It was a Saturdate with my girlfriends Kayelett, Joyce and Marj! I haven’t spent time with them for quite some time especially with Kayelett. We had lunch at Shakey’s and ice cream at Sebastian’s and walk by the bay with them. We really had a lot of catching up to do and we were able to! There are really some things that you can only say comfortably with your friends without worrying to be judged like your changing preferences in guys! HAHAHAHA. I really had fun with them and I wish I could spend more times like this with all of my friends.

December 20

Due to some issues, I have to have 2 separate celebrations with my college friends hehe. With Lorr, Kat, Poms and Elaine (Franz wasn’t able to come ‘cause she’s in Naga), we went to The Fort. We tried something new, something exciting, something that gives adrenaline rush and something that brings out the child in all of us. And that’s LazerXtreme! It was really FUN!!! For 20 minutes we got to shoot and run with kids! HAHAHA and some adults too! The kids were really fun to play with ‘cause they really chase you and I love when I get to tag them.. I just say ‘HAHA, I tagged you!” and I run away! And after that tiring activity, we got some yogurt ice cream at Lulu Belle’s and reminisced on our college memories. It was mostly about the crushes and issues we had and their CODENAMES! We really gave a lot... again, A LOT of codenames. It seems like everyone had one and we even don’t know the real names of some, just the codenames! HAHAHAHAHA. We had dinner at Friday’s and had our annual exchange gifts there. And for 3 years in a row, Elaine was the one who got me as her baby. After a heavy dinner, we went to Timezone! Weeee! Our fave place! We headed straight to the videoke room and sang our hearts out. And we played ball after.

I am really taking every opportunity to spend as much time as I could with my friends ‘cause I don’t know if I’ll stay in Jax for long... L
