So, I haven't made kwento about this. I am now a regular employee again at Thomson Reuters! Cool. I don't know why, but maybe they just love me and they can't let me go hahaha!
The same time last year, I was already freaking out cause it was almost 5 months of bummin' around. I would often worry whenever a friend would get a job and poor little Jhe is still in the house sitting in front of the computer all day long to chase her boredom away. I've declined several offers before saying my sweet 'YES' to Thomson Reuters. I know in the back of my mind that the reason why I declined every single offer was because I am waiting for an offer from Thomson Reuters. And I didn't regret those 5 months of being a bum for the sake of hearing a job offer from Thomson Reuters.
My TR bday is coming up so I wanted reminisce my one-year journey with Thomson Reuters. :) :)
It was on May 11, 2009 that my bully days started (though they were a little nice on my first month) and a colorful chapter was opened. I had really so much fun with the Manila Team. From the urgent requests, no-talk episodes, working lunches, nerve-wracking hotline calls to the weekend getaways, GT tower moments, people-watching hobby, wrestling matches, Pinoy Henyo, spelling bees and multiplication quizzes, I knew that we rock! Until I submitted my resignation letter cause I can't take the bullying anymore with an effective resignation date of January 18, 2010. Of course, the bullying never stopped and will never stop. I got an offer from the NY team to be the weekend support for CMC. Of course, I again said my sweet 'YES' after hearing the compensation! ($_$) And one of my dreams came true on Feb. 16, 2010. I was sent to the NY office and I finally get to meet all of them! I was able to see snow (and I just wanted to see it and not really suffer from the cold weather it brings). And on April 6, 2010, Cliu surprised me again by offering me an Associate position. And again, I said my sweet 'YES'. Just wondering, why would you refuse an offer like that? And, I will start being a full-time employee on April 27, 2010. I'm excited to have my Sunday back and to be working with the team again.
There's no such thing as good or bad luck, only blessings and blessings in disguise.
