whew! It's my 22nd birthday and my 2nd here in US. It's the 2nd birthday I spent away from the people I usually celebrate this special day, but thanks to technology or should I say Facebook, they were able to send me greetings & wishes and it made me feel sooo loved. It was funny also 'cause Philippine time is 13 hours ahead so I was receiving birthday greetings as early as Feb8. :p
I spent the whole day with my awesome mom & dad. We had a sumptuous lunch at Red Lobster (I'll start hunger strike tomorrow). After that, we headed to the theater and watched Roommate. I wanted to watch it 'cause it's Leighton Meester hehe. And of course, we attended the worship service and thanked God for making my wishes come true even before I wish for them. I don't need to buy a dozen of candles so I can wish for things I want 'cause I have an unlimited supply of candles from Him.
I still blew a cake after dinner and I made a simple wish. Okay... it might not be simple. I wished for just one thing... no it's actually 2. I've been wishing wish #2 since I learned that one gets to wish when it is his/her birthday and I've been wishing wish #1 for a couple of years now and I'll never get tired of wishing/praying for it.
And of course, I won't settle for just one celebration (HAHAHA). We had lunch at Tita's house to celebrate my bday and Tito's. It was simple.. just us because the foreigners might not appreciate pancit palabok and lechon!
Birthdays are always fun and it should be celebrated because it is a gift from God. This year may be far from what I wanted, but I will forever be grateful with the life given to me.

It is a tradition that I wear new clothes on my birthday. Thanks to mom for the fab dress!
